No, absolutely not. Your vault access code remains with you and it is your responsibility to store it securely somewhere:

• Your vault access code is generated on your device and never leaves it.
• We only store encrypted versions of your data that we cannot decrypt.
• Your encryption key is derived from your access code and never sent to us.
• Even our engineers and support staff cannot access your vault access code or content.

This means you have complete privacy - only you and the people you explicitly share with can ever access your data. It's your responsibility to keep your vault access code safe and secure.

Your vault access code is the key to your encryption - if you lose it, even we cannot recover your data. This is the fundamental principle of end-to-end encryption that our system is built upon.

Critical importance: Since your access code never leaves your device and we never have access to it directly, there is absolutely no way for us to recover your data if you lose it. This ensures maximum security but also means you must:

The system only triggers after multiple failed check-ins and grace periods, ensuring accuracy. With fitness integrations, you can set it and forget it!

After you cross your grace period, you can still lock your vault again if it was a false alarm.

You just have to simply log in to the system and send a check-in (or send a check-in via our integrations that you have set up) and your vault will be locked again.

Please note that it is advised that you set your thresholds according to your needs so you don't have accidental vault opens happening frequently.
