Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
We’ve launched Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) - an additional security layer that protects your account with time-based one-time passwords (TOTP)!
Your Eternal Vault account now supports industry-standard authenticator apps like Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password. After enabling 2FA, you’ll need both your password and a time-sensitive code from your authenticator app to sign in, making your account significantly more secure against unauthorized access.
Introducing Lifetime Plans
Pay once, protected forever. We’re launching Lifetime Plans at $199 (Individual) and $399 (Family).
What’s changing:
- New lifetime option - one payment, lifetime access
- Monthly plans stay the same - $7.99/$11.99

Pause Notifications
We’ve introduced a pause notifications feature that gives you greater control over your heartbeat monitoring system while maintaining safety through intelligent failsafes.
How It Works:
When you pause notifications, your doomsday timer stops progressing, giving you peace of mind during planned absences. The dashboard clearly shows your pause status and duration. After 45 days of extended pausing, you’ll receive a gentle reminder email encouraging you to resume notifications to keep the system effective.
In-App Feedback System
We’ve launched a built-in feedback system that makes it easier than ever to share your thoughts, report issues, and request features directly from within the dashboard!
Access the new “Need Help” button in the sidebar navigation to quickly submit feedback with categorized options: New feature requests, Bug reports, Questions, and Other. All feedback is instantly delivered to our team for rapid response.

BYOS Storage Integrations
We’re excited to launch BYOS (Bring Your Own Storage) - a groundbreaking feature that lets you connect your existing cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box to Eternal Vault while keeping your files exactly where they are!
With BYOS, your documents stay in your own Google Drive, Dropbox, or other cloud storage - never imported to our servers. You simply create secure connections to organize them within Eternal Vault’s vault system. During emergency access, trusted contacts receive direct shareable links to access your files from their original locations.

We’ve launched Personalization & Life Stage Guidance - a smart questionnaire system that creates personalized document recommendations based on your unique life situation!
After your initial setup, complete a brief questionnaire about your life stage, priorities, and family situation to receive tailored guidance on which documents matter most for your specific circumstances. Whether you’re a new parent, business owner, or planning for retirement, your dashboard now adapts to show priority documents first.
Google OAuth Account Linking
You can now link your existing email-based account with Google OAuth! If you previously signed up with email and password, you can seamlessly upgrade to Google authentication.
Here’s how it works:
- Try to sign in with Google using the same email address as your existing account
- You’ll be presented with an account linking page
- Enter your current password to verify ownership
- Your account will be linked to Google OAuth
- Future logins will use Google authentication only
This one-time linking process ensures a smooth transition from email authentication to the convenience of Google OAuth, while maintaining the security of your existing account and data.
Fitness App Integrations
We’re excited to announce the launch of Fitness App Integrations - a game-changing feature that automatically generates heartbeats by connecting to your favorite fitness applications! Connect to Fitbit, Strava, Oura Ring, Polar, and Withings to let your daily activities prove you’re alive.
All integrations use secure OAuth with encrypted token storage, minimal data access, and no personal data storage on our servers.
Google OAuth Login
We’ve launched Google OAuth Login to give you a seamless way to sign in to your Eternal Vault account using your existing Google account! No more remembering another password - just click “Continue with Google” and you’re in.
This secure authentication method uses Google’s trusted OAuth system, so your credentials never leave Google’s servers and you can manage your Google account in one place.
