View Usage
Keep track of your vault’s storage usage, see your current plan details, and monitor how close you are to your account limits. This helps you plan for upgrades if needed.
Where to Find Usage Information
Go to your profile page and scroll down to the “Usage Metrics” section. Here you’ll see a detailed breakdown of your account usage.

What You’ll See
The usage section shows you key metrics in a clean, easy-to-read format:
Storage Consumed
- Shows exactly how much storage space your uploaded documents are using (e.g., “203.37 KB”)
Current Tier
- Displays your subscription plan (e.g., “Individual”)
- This tells you which features and limits apply to your account
Usage Counters
- Contacts - Shows current count vs. your plan limit (e.g., “0 / 12”)
- Documents - Shows current count vs. your plan limit (e.g., “1 / 20”)
These numbers help you see how much of your plan’s allowance you’re using and when you might need to upgrade.
Keeping an eye on your usage helps you know when you might need to upgrade your plan or clean up old files to stay within your limits.
When to Consider Upgrading
Consider upgrading your plan if:
- You’re approaching your document limit (e.g., getting close to 20/20)
- You’re approaching your contact limit (e.g., getting close to 12/12)
- You need features available in higher tiers
- You want higher limits for peace of mind
Managing Your Usage
To stay within your plan limits:
- Review old documents - Delete files you no longer need to stay under your document limit
- Remove unused contacts - Clean up your contact list to stay under your contact limit
- Monitor regularly - Check your usage occasionally to see how close you are to your limits
- Consider upgrading - If you consistently hit limits, a higher plan might be better
Your usage information updates in real-time, so you’ll always have current data about your vault’s status.
